Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Phoenix, Arizona.

Could be asked to work weekends and holidays

Could be asked to flex shifts (nights to days or days to nights depending on department need) but would not do that in the same pay period.

RRT- Registered Respiratory

ACLS / BLS

AZ state license

At least 1 year of experience

Adult acute care experience required, adult critical care experience always preferred. We are an adult only facility-no need for nicu / picu or any peds experience.

Position Overview :  (Major Functions and Non-Essential Functions) :

To perform specialized respiratory therapy services as directed by provider orders and in accordance with protocols, policies, and procedures established by the hospital.

Additional Experience and / or Qualifications :  (Has Achieved Competency in the Following Areas, Job Knowledge and Additional Considerations) :   Should be familiar with The Joint Commission standards and requirements. Understanding of computers. Good verbal and written communication skills required. Should be familiar with risks associated with exposure to infectious patients, needle puncture hazards, and hazards related to compressed gases.

Minimum Education and / or Experience Required :  (Education Requirements and Experience) :   Successful completion of a National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) approved Respiratory Therapy program. Previous hospital experience preferred.

Licensure / Certification Required :   All Respiratory Therapists will hold the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential prior to their first day of employment. Respiratory Therapists are required to maintain Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support or the equivalent as determined by the site of hire.
