Role Description

The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa is seeking a full-time Procurement Contract Specialist to manage procurement and contract administration processes. Based on-site in Honolulu, HI, this role involves drafting and reviewing procurement contracts, managing purchase orders, leading contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with government procurement standards. The individual will analyze procurement data, ensure policy adherence, and maintain accurate documentation while collaborating with various departments to fulfill operational requirements efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3 Years of Experience & Knowledge of Procurement Contracts and Purchase Orders management
• Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and comprehensive understanding of Government Procurement processes
• Excellent Analytical Skills to evaluate procurement data, ensure policy compliance, and mitigate risks
• Detail-oriented and effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Contract Management, or a related field
• Experience in public or government procurement settings is highly desirable
• Familiarity with procurement software tools is an advantage
