Genetic Counselor - Oncology

What to Expect :

• The genetic counselor will work at St. Luke's Cancer Institute as part of a collaborative team of six genetic counselors.
• This position will be the sole genetic counselor at the St. Luke's Cancer Institute in Nampa, Idaho where patients receive care from a compassionate team of medical, radiation, and gynecologic oncology specialists along with an on-site pharmacy, lab, and a wide range of supportive services.
• The genetic counselor will evaluate patients for hereditary predisposition to cancer and benign hematologic conditions, providing genetic counseling and coordinating care for the patient and family.
• The genetic counselor will serve as a resource to physicians, hospital staff, and patients / families at the Cancer Institute in Nampa.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
