Location: Rockford, Illinois
Duration: 2-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $40-60/hour

Overview:
A contract opportunity is available for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. This role requires an RN with a strong clinical background, excellent decision-making skills, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized nursing care to patients with severe, life-threatening conditions.
• Monitor vital signs, manage ventilators, and administer medications as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
• Accurately assess and document patient conditions using electronic health records (EHR), particularly EPIC.
• Act swiftly during medical emergencies to ensure patient stabilization.
• Educate patients and their families on care procedures and post-care instructions.

• Active RN license in the state of Illinois (or compact license).
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required).
• Proficiency in EPIC and other healthcare charting systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high-stress situations with professionalism and calm.
