The Program Coordinator will work closely with the HCPP Project Director to ensure smooth operation, evaluation, and administration of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) funded UIC Urban Health Program (UHP) Health Career Pathway Program (HCPP). Duties & Responsibilities include :

• Support the planning and facilitation of summer and school-year programs; including programmatic design and curriculum development and delivery.
• Provides program knowledge and expertise of procedures, technical specifications related to pathway programs.
• Provides leadership for the development, administration of programs, and responsible for various financial operations of program; advises on budget preparation as required.
• Provides management reports, analyses, data, and information for administrative purposes; assists with grant reports or related HRSA requirements.
• Implement evaluation needs to measure reach and impact, as well as identify quality improvement opportunities.
• Maintain program logistics, including participant recruitment, retention and engagement activities.
• Work directly with College of Dentistry Office of Student and Diversity Affairs, the UIC Urban Health Program and UIC Office of Business and Financial Services (OBFS) to efficiently process and manage participant stipends.
• Participate in efforts to establish, manage, and sustain multidisciplinary and multilateral partnerships, including the UIC Urban Health Program Units and attend UHP meetings as necessary.
• Responsible for the management of resources, determination, and supervision of staff functions; coordinates the recruitment, training and supervision of health professional / undergraduate student workers and volunteers.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
