CLINICAL SCIENCES PROFESSOR OPPORTUNITY

AT NEW MEDICAL SCHOOL IN MEMPHIS, TN!

Baptist University, College of Osteopathic Medicine (BUCOM) is seeking an additional employed Obstetrician-Gynecologist, General Surgeon, Primary Care or Family Medicine Physician!

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DETAILS :

  • This is a full-time employed position with Baptist Health Sciences University, an integral part of the Baptist Memorial Healthcare Corporation.
  • Teaching and directing multidisciplinary and clinical courses during the third and fourth year.
  • Contributing to curriculum development, assessment, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Collaborating with leadership on educational outcomes.
  • Engaging in a balanced mix of teaching, research, service, administration, and clinical practice, tailored annually to faculty goals and institutional needs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :

  • DO or MD degree with AOA or ABMS board certification or board eligibility in designated clinical field, or terminal degree in a related or academically appropriate area from an accredited institution with demonstrated experience in teaching.
  • Unrestricted certification / licensure to teach / practice in the State of Tennessee; if DO or MD, must have ability to obtain an active and unrestricted medical license in the state where clinical activities occur.
