Digital Learning Support Specialist

Job Summary :

Little Rock School District / Little Rock Southwest High School is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Learning Support Interventionist. The Digital Learning Support Interventionist plays a vital role in advancing student achievement through the effective use of technology. Under the supervision of certified staff this position provides direct assistance to students in classrooms and intervention settings to reinforce academic skills using digital tools and programs. The interventionist supports students use of digital tools fostering a safe responsible use of technology maintains and troubleshoots student devices and ensures equitable access to digital learning resources. This position is funded through Title l and is essential to fostering an engaging technology-rich learning environment that helps all students succeed.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : (9.25) month (190 days) contract Job Class 1770 - range 103 plus benefits package. NOTE : Precise placement within the salary range will be determined based on education and experience. FLSA : Non-Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Provide direct support to students using technology tools in core subject areas to improve academic performance.
• Assist with the setup use and troubleshooting of Chromebooks tablets and instructional technology tools.
• Support classroom teachers and interventionists in implementing digital programs aligned with curriculum and assessments with students.
• Monitor student engagement in online learning platforms (e.g. Schoology Lumio Edgenuity etc.).
• Help facilitate small group technology-based interventions under the supervision of a certified teacher and / or Instructional Technology Specialist.
• Support students in building digital literacy and basic tech skills necessary for 21st-century learning.
• Maintain student device checkout logs perform basic tech troubleshooting and coordinate with IT staff for repairs as needed.
• Participate in school-level planning to support digital learning initiatives and equity in technology access.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the building technology department
