Protective Life is seeking a strategic and analytical Actuary or Associate Actuary to join our Protection Divisions Product Development team. This role is ideal for a collaborative and forward-thinking actuary who thrives in a dynamic environment focused on modernizing life insurance offerings for profitable growth. Youll work closely with product management implementation and competitive intelligence teams to lead pricing initiatives financial modeling and governance communications that support Protectives mission to offer affordable protection to millions of families.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead pricing and development of life insurance products aligned with financial goals marketing strategies and risk appetite.
• Model and analyze product financials (Statutory and GAAP) and associated risks.
• Ensure strong model controls and documentation in compliance with internal Pricing Standards.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to support governance and strategic decisions.
• Guide Competitive Intelligence efforts to support product development with relevant market data.
• Manage cross-functional projects including product implementation legal and compliance support reinsurance and marketing.
• Support acquisition due diligence and integration of new business.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative growth-oriented environment.
• Uphold Actuarial Standards of Practice with integrity and professionalism.

$94000 - $170000 a year

Protectives targeted salary range for this position is $94000 to $170000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to job location skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protectives total compensation package for employees.

This position also offers additional incentive opportunitiesthrough an annual incentive based on individual and Company performance.
