Leidos’ Defense Systems Manufacturing Segment is seeking a Material Planning Analyst II to join our Defense Space Systems Integration & Test team located in Huntsville, AL.  The Material Planning Analyst II is responsible for experience obtaining quotes and interacting with vendors and performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities

Create Purchase Requisitions from Costpoint MRP Action Messages.

Maintain Proper Manufacturing Lead-times, and order policies in Costpoint.

Analyze demand signals and quickly identify any anomalies.

Monitor and track incoming materials.

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant work experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant work experience. In lieu of degree, High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience will be considered

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or purchasing activities, including experience obtaining quotes and interacting with vendors.

Position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.

Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Electromechanical components or manufacturing.

Deltek Costpoint accounting software.

Windchill configuration management software.

Interpreting and ordering from a Bills of Materials.

Government contractor material purchasing requirements.

Pay Range : Pay Range $52,000.00 - $94,000.00
