[job_card.job_description]1 year experience preferred Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision once training is completed. Must have basic computer skills ARDMS certification in OB-GYN Sonography preferred. BLS Certification Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with all levels of the organization.
Position Summary :
The Radiology / Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing all diagnostic radiographic procedures to include Mammography, Stereotactic Biopsy and Bone Densitometry. Must have knowledge of procedures, protocols and equipment used in obtaining radiographic images.
Technical skills must include computer knowledge. Ability to work extended periods standing. Reports and communicates to Supervisor and / or Director of OP Imaging. Trained for and skilled to perform exams on patients of all ages. Able to assist patients on and off stretchers and wheelchairs.
Position Qualification :
- ARRT Certified
- Florida License in Radiology
- CPR certification
- Current CEU's in mammography ( MQSA )
Required Licenses / Certifications :
Communication Skills :
Must clear background and drug test required.
