The Quality Nurse Coordinator II works independently to coordinate quality and performance improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with hospital licensure and accreditation requirements. This role includes conducting quality assurance case reviews and collecting clinical and operational data for monitoring trends and outcomes.
The Coordinator collaborates effectively with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to enhance quality metrics focused on delivering exceptional patient experiences. You will facilitate safety analyses, investigate issues, and develop action plans to mitigate recurrence.
You will be responsible for maintaining logs, abstracting clinical data, and conducting thorough chart reviews to ensure compliance with established quality standards from various regulatory agencies.
The Quality Nurse Coordinator II leads interdisciplinary process improvement and collaborates with service line leaders to monitor, implement, and evaluate changes resulting in significant improvements in quality and safety.
Compliance with Memorial Health’s standards, policies, and the Code of Business Practices is essential, including reporting instances of non-compliance.
