A company is looking for a ROI Medical Records Specialist - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Process release of information requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Perform quality checks on all work and maintain equipment in excellent operating condition
Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma (GED) required
A minimum of 2 years prior experience in a medical records department preferred
Strong computer software experience, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to type 50 wpm and use fax, copier, and scanning machines
Self-motivated and a team player with proven customer satisfaction skills
