JOB DESCRIPTION

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the operational integrity safety and cleanliness of the site ensuring compliance with OSHA and NFPA standards and fostering a culture of safety. This role includes performing small repairs supporting maintenance technicians and ensuring proactive management of combustible dust hazards in accordance with safety and environmental standards.

Shift available is Monday to Friday 7 : 00AM to 3 : 00PM

Wage is DOE within $22 to $28 per hour range

YOUR ROLE

Maintenance Execution and Reliability

• Ensure full compliance with OSHA NFPA standards and site-specific safety protocols including Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Conduct and participate in safety audits hazard identification and ongoing safety training.
• Maintain a clean organized and hazard-free work environment to support a culture of safety.
• Perform routine inspections and minor repairs of facility infrastructure (doors walls lighting plumbing HVAC etc.)
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment or facility modifications.
• Provide hands-on support to maintenance technicians during equipment servicing troubleshooting and emergency repairs.
• Assist with inventory management of tools parts and supplies.
• Help coordinate contractor work and vendor services when needed.
• Utilize CMMS to manage work orders.

Qualifications : QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift carry push and pull objects weighing between 20 to 50 pounds independently (over 50 pounds with buddy lift) including cleaning equipment dust collection systems and raw materials.

Bend squat stoop kneel crawl and stretch to reach and clean various areas inspect equipment and align materials.

Use hand tools such as brushes brooms scrapers and vacuums with precision and good hand-eye coordination.

Good vision required to identify dust accumulation inspect product quality and monitor screens and labels.

Work in hot noisy dusty and / or humid conditions for extended periods.
