Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of professional experience as a techno-functional Data Consultant (ETL processes, digital transformation and back-end data pipeline development)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Expert is relational databases, Microsoft stack (SQL / SSIS) preferred
• Experience with Databricks (as an engine) and comfortable troubleshooting
• Experience in AWS Services and / or Azure
• Experience scripting in Python, PySpark, and / or R Deep experience defining business and technical requirements and providing analytics support to business departments (e-commerce, sales, marketing, product management, finance, or operations research)
• Ability and willingness to work onsite in Plano (3x a week)

Job Description

An employer in Plano, TX is looking for a local Techno-Functional Lead (Data) to be a data liaison for the Sales & Marketing Business Analytics teams across key digital transformation initiatives to ensure high-quality data pipelines are deployed. Additional responsibilities include : Work closely with front-end data analysts / developers to understand requirements and use of the data Have an overall knowledge of traditional / modern Data Warehousing design patterns and advocate adoption of Data engineering best practices wherever possible Develop standardized and scalable data ingestion and transformation patterns and processes in accordance with best practices, using various database and data transformation tools, platforms, and technologies Review and refine data flow design and appropriate data models to fulfill business requirements Partner with IT to ensure alignment of strategy, priorities & timely delivery of analytics platform and infrastructure where applicable

Compensation

$65 / hr to $75 / hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
