[job_card.job_description]Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and possession of an appropriate level NYS Driver’s License OR ONE (1) year of full-time paid experience in building cleaning and minor maintenance activities and possession of an appropriate level NYS Driver’s License. This is routine and repetitive manual work calling for the efficient and economical performance of building cleaning and occasional minor maintenance tasks. Cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed according to a well-established routine. An incumbent may be responsible for the cleanliness and minor maintenance in a small school building or work under supervision of a higher-ranking employee at a larger school building. Supervision may be exercised over the work of cleaners or helpers.
THIS IS A CIVIL SERVICE POSITION. THERE ARE SEVERAL CURRENT VACANCIES.

SALARY : 2025 - 2026 $48,674
- 3rd shifts include a $1,560 differentia and 2nd shift includes a differential of $1,040
