This full-time Social Worker position supports elementary school students during the 20252026 academic year in New Haven, CT. The role involves delivering individual and group counseling services to help students navigate social, emotional, and behavioral challenges in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual counseling to elementary school students to address various emotional and social concerns.
• Conduct group counseling sessions to promote social skills, resilience, and positive peer interactions.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop comprehensive support plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and student progress.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to referrals as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active 071 Connecticut School Social Work License.
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adhere to schedules.

Schedule and Location:

• Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week.
• Work hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
