Security Officer - Distribution Access Monitor

As a Security Officer - Distribution Access Monitor in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with visitors and team members, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Mon 03 : 30 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Tue 03 : 30 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Wed 03 : 30 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Thur 03 : 30 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Fri 03 : 30 PM - 11 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and information as needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and local authorities as needed during emergencies or critical situations.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
