Description
This person will be responsible for setting up jobs and running parts on a CNC swiss lathe in the precision department. They will be responsible for everything from setting up the machines, running the parts, and checking the quality of the parts using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and bore gages. This person will be placed in a cell of 7 CNC lathes, only responsible for running 2-3 machines at a time, that holds a + / -.0005 tolerance to the majority of their parts. These are mostly long runs where the runs range from 200 parts to 1,000's of parts depending on what the project is. This person will meet with the 1st shift lead to get their job orders for the day (there is a 30 minutes overlap in shifts) and then be on their own once they are trained up after the 2 week training period on days with the lead.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 / hr.
