Technology Education Specialistto play a pivotal role in optimizing the use of critical healthcare technology systems. In this exciting position, you will be the cornerstone of our educational initiatives, directly impacting the proficiency and confidence of our diverse workforce - from clinicians to support staff. Your expertise will ensure that every team member can harness the full potential of our digital tools, directly contributing to seamless patient care and operational excellence. This is your chance to make a significant, lasting impact on how healthcare is delivered and supported.What You Will Do :You will be instrumental in developing, delivering, and refining comprehensive training programs for our core technology platforms. Your daily work will involve hands-on instruction, curriculum development, and direct user support, ensuring that all employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel.
Master the functionality and workflows of assigned healthcare technology applications.Design and deliver engaging, instructor-led training sessions for diverse audiences, including medical professionals and support staff.Provide essential "at-the-elbow" and remote support during critical system implementations and ongoing operations.Develop and maintain high-quality training materials, documentation, and knowledge base content.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training programs are accurate, effective, and aligned with organizational goals.Monitor and document user competency, providing targeted feedback and follow-up education.Identify opportunities for training improvements and propose innovative educational methodologies.Act as a primary resource for user education, responding to individual support requests and contributing to a centralized support function.Stay current with system updates and new features, developing and delivering optimization training.Generate and analyze training completion reports for management.Must-Have Qualifications :High School Diploma / GED or equivalent.Basic understanding of effective training delivery principles, theories, and concepts, particularly in a technology-focused environment.Ability to apply adult learning theories and methodologies to training design and delivery.Proficiency in understanding healthcare workflows and technology functionality.Familiarity with general medical terminology for appropriate application during training.Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative work and effective communication across all levels.Proficient in standard office productivity software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentations).Demonstrated ability to manage class time efficiently and provide high-quality customer service.Experience identifying problems and proposing solutions related to training and support.Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, influencing and persuading learners and partners.Capable of working independently and as part of a team, completing tasks within expected timelines.Nice-to-Have Qualifications :Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience working with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.Intermediate to advanced proficiency in standard office productivity software.Understanding of basic project management concepts.The target hiring compensation range for this role is $62.33 to $69.26 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
