Location : McCook, IL
Reports to : Mailing Logistics Supervisor
Schedule : Sunday - Tuesday and every other Saturday 6pm-6am
Responsibilities / Essential Functions :
Accurate physical receiving of materials / products in order to maintain the integrity of inventory control and ensures delivery of materials / products to the proper department.
- Receives product deliveries
- Operates a Forklift to move pallets from one location to another
- Ensures purchase order number is on all paperwork
- Records and checks the quantity and quality of good received
- Inspect, accept, or reject inbound shipments
- Communicates and coordinates with the appropriate buyer for product returns / repair
- Properly inputs received material into the computer system
- Delivers product to appropriate internal personnel
- Assists in other departments as needed
- Perform cycle counts regularly
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors, and managers
- Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations
- Maintains job-related confidentiality
- Understands and adheres to organizational and department policy and procedures
