Kelly Services is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician in Farmington!
If you’re skilled in quality inspection and understand how mechanical systems come together on the production floor, this role places you directly in assembly operations. You’ll support quality activities on the LiftMaster Compact (LMC) and TruArc Weld lines — ensuring assemblies meet engineering standards before they move forward.
What You’ll Do
Inspect sheet metal and welded assemblies during and after assembly
Verify adherence to mechanical specifications using drawings and GD&T
Perform tests and checks on mechanical, welded, and minor electrical components
Investigate quality deviations and support root cause / corrective actions
Communicate issues tied to internal manufacturing processes, not just suppliers
Maintain documentation accuracy within ERP / quality systems (SAP preferred)
Escalate trends or unresolved issues impacting production flow and delivery
Support improvements in assembly quality processes and workflow
What You’ll Bring
2+ years of quality control or mechanical inspection experience required
Experience with welded components, steel structures, or sheet-metal assemblies
Blueprint reading skills with strong GD&T competency
Skilled with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and inspection equipment
Understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly flow
ERP / QMS experience preferred (SAP or similar)
Nice-to-have : Quality Engineering exposure or strong machine assembly background
Proactive problem-solver, comfortable collaborating on the shop floor

Monday–Friday | 7 : 00 AM–3 : 30 PM | Full-Time
$26.00–$32.00 / hr DOE | Weekly Pay
