Project Engineering Manager Substation

About the Role

We are seeking a Substation Project Engineering Manager to lead the design and execution of high-voltage substation projects. Youll oversee multi-discipline teams, manage quality, budgets, and schedules, and play a key role in client relationships and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage engineering activities and project deliverables across multiple disciplines.

Lead teams in the planning, design, and execution of substation projects.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, timelines, and budgets.

Support client engagement, proposal development, and business pursuits.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project staff.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering; P.E. license preferred .

5+ years of experience managing EPC or design projects for substations and switchyards.

Strong understanding of substation design, protection and control, civil / structural elements, and equipment specification.

Experience with procurement, contracts, and interdisciplinary coordination.

Strong leadership and communication skills.
