Oversee all financial operations for a $30 million electrical contracting company in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Manage accounting functions including general ledger, job cost accounting, and payroll
Prepare detailed financial reports, including work in progress and percentage of completion reporting
Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and construction industry financial standards
Serve as the main point of contact for external CPAs, banks, and bonding agents
Provide financial insights to project managers and leadership to support informed decisions
Identify opportunities to strengthen reporting processes and improve profitability
Lead, mentor, and develop the internal accounting team

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Active CPA license preferred
6 to 10 years of professional experience in accounting or financial management
Prior experience in a controller or supervisory accounting role
Knowledge of construction accounting, including job costing and work in progress reporting
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards
Experience collaborating with executive leadership and external financial partners
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop accounting staff
