Clinical Nurse II - Post Cardiothoracic Surgery

We welcome applicants from various backgrounds, from new RN graduates to seasoned nurses looking to enhance their skills. While advanced skills such as cardiac rhythm interpretation, familiarity with vasoactive and antiarrhythmic medications, and chest tube management are preferred, they are not required.

Job Responsibilities :

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform necessary treatments and procedures as per policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for a variety of patient needs.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop an individualized Plan of Care for each patient.
• Direct and guide ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
