Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day completion of all inbound and outbound scheduling tasks. Responsibilities range from receiving orders from Leahy, scheduling orders with customers, taking phone calls and emails to schedule and re-schedule inbound and outbound shipments and coordinating all logistics throughout NLX.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate and update Daily Shipping Schedule as necessary to ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are scheduled per customer requests and dock availability.
- Work in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure all trailers are loaded and unloaded as scheduled.
- Check in inbound and outbound drivers and call each load back to warehouse for dock availability.
- Complete all necessary inbound and outbound paperwork per SQF level 3 Good Documentation Practices
- Work directly with Leahy-IFP Key Account Managers to ensure all warehouse orders are properly scheduled and shipped on time.
- Work with QA to ensure finished goods product availability and release in SAGE ERP
- Ensure warehouse has all necessary paperwork to receive inbound loads and ship outbound loads.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
- Review daily shipping schedule to ensure proper inventory levels for the current weeks shipments.
- Maintain digital records of all BOLs and inbound materials.
- Review daily receiving packets verifying COAs are within spec with actual packing slip sent by the vendor.
- In the event that a scheduled delivery does not arrive, provide ETA and send out a call out.
- Pack and ship QA samples as requested by Leahy or customers.
- Receive and distribute all packages received through the front office.
- Promote good communication with truck drivers to assist with dock flow.
- Track materials and ingredients according to scorecards and send out confirmation when materials are received.
- Pull all necessary samples as requested, doing the necessary paperwork and inventory adjustments.
- Procure departmental supplies as needed and within budget.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

High school Diploma or Equivalent2-3 years experience scheduling carriers for inbound / outbound logistics operationsClerical experience including filing and packing / shipping FedExExperience with SAGE ERP system or similar ERP systemStrong organizational skillsStrong computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel and OutlookRead, write, speak, and comprehend English.Perform as a team memberSelf-motivatedExtremely high attention to detailCommunicate and write the English language proficientlyPhysical Demands
