Apprentice & Journeyman Electrician

Location : Tempe, Arizona

Reports To : Electrician Foreman

Schedule : Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electricians and apprentices to join the Icon Electric team and support ongoing field operations. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing electrical distribution systems and associated equipment across a wide range of project environments. The ideal candidate is dependable, licensed, safety-minded, and committed to delivering high-quality work that reflects Icon Electric's standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer installation manuals
• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
• Bend pipe and perform conduit installation (EMT, rigid, flex)
• Understand and perform basic electrical wiring and terminations
• Remain in full compliance with all current National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot components including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear
• Ensure all work meets safety requirements, project specifications, and company quality expectations
• Maintain clean and organized work areas; uphold Icon Electric's safety culture
• Collaborate with foremen, apprentices, and project teams to meet project timelines
