Job Summary

To support our extraordinary team who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Controls Manager located in Austin,Tx.

Reporting to the Director, Operations Engineering the Controls Manager is responsible for leading a team of controls engineers in the design, development, and implementation of automated control systems for machinery and processes. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring projects are delivered on time. The position requires strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation technologies, as well as the ability to mentor and guide team members.

What a typical day looks like :

• Leadership & Team Management

Lead and mentor a team of controls engineers, providing technical guidance and career development.

Plan and direct controls-related project responsibilities from concept through commissioning.

Design, develop, and implement control systems including PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA integration.

Participate in technical discussions with clients and internal teams.

The experience we're looking to add to our team :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.

7+ years in controls engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, etc.).

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
