About the role

Are you passionate about the intersection of high fashion and cutting-edge artificial intelligence? As a Data Scientist at Daydream, you will be a foundational member of the team building the brain behind our AI Personal Stylist. You will leverage the latest advancements in Large Language Models to create a truly magical, intuitive, and sophisticated conversational experience. This is a unique opportunity to solve complex technical challenges while directly shaping a product that will revolutionize how people shop online.

What you’ll do :

Design, build, and deploy core features for our AI stylist using advanced techniques like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and LLM-powered agents.

Own the end-to-end lifecycle of our models, from data processing and fine-tuning to creating robust evaluation frameworks that measure quality and accuracy.

Masterfully craft and iterate on prompts to shape the AI's persona, ensuring it embodies the voice and expertise of a world-class fashion consultant.

Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate user needs and creative concepts into tangible, production-ready AI features.

Champion rapid, hypothesis-driven experimentation, embracing the freedom to take calculated risks, test bold ideas, and pivot quickly to discover breakthrough user experiences.

Stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving AI landscape, researching and prototyping new architectures and techniques to continuously elevate our product.

Who you are

You have hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, programmatic API usage, and building evaluation frameworks.

You have a strong interest or background in the fashion, retail, or luxury goods industry. You possess a keen eye for aesthetics and an intuitive understanding of the user you're building for.

You possess a strong background of machine learning fundamentals, including classification, regression, clustering, and the principles behind embeddings and gradient descent. You are proficient in Python and a major deep learning framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

You are a pragmatic and proactive builder who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment, capable of driving projects from a simple idea to a fully realized feature.

You are an empathetic and collaborative teammate, skilled at communicating complex technical ideas and passionate about building products that users genuinely love.
