Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Morning Baker to join our kitchen team and help us provide freshly baked goods to our customers each day. The ideal candidate is an early riser with a passion for baking, capable of producing high-quality pastries, breads, and other baked items with consistency and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, muffins, cookies, and specialty items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Arrive early to begin daily production and ensure products are ready for opening hours
  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately and operate baking equipment safely
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate restocking needs
  • Assist in developing and testing new recipes or seasonal offerings
  • Label, date, and store baked items appropriately
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and communicate effectively with the front-of-house team

    • Qualifications

  • Previous baking experience preferred, especially in a commercial or café setting
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and proofing times
  • Ability to follow recipes with precision and maintain consistency
  • Comfortable working early morning shifts (start times between 4 : 00–6 : 30 AM)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

    Early morning shifts (4 : 30 AM – 12 : 00 PM), including weekends and holidays as needed
