Material Technician

Description

Critical materials testing and observation services on projects involving roadways, bridges, airports, large commercial developments, remediation, etc. (Local projects they will support include a Costco and upcoming micron project) Perform field and / or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (. soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel). Performs testing, observation, and inspection as directed in accordance with training and the specified procedures.

Provides clear documentation of findings and results.

Performs basic analysis of data to verify accuracy before communication and submittal to the Project Manager. (Kevin or Jimmy) Communicates information to Project Manager and other personnel as directed by the PM.

Has at least one year of experience in field testing On track to obtain ACI Level I

May train lower level technicians depending on their experience level Maintains equipment and calibration.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00 / hr.
