Location : Baltimore, MD

Hours : Day 5x8

Local Pay : $59 / Hour

Travel Pay : Hourly : $20 / Hour

Stipend : $1,519Week

40hr Gross : $2,486

48hr gross : $2,982

Job Summary :

The Clinical Dietitian applies advanced knowledge of food science, biochemistry, physiology, behavioral and social sciences to assess nutritional needs and develop individualized nutrition care plans for patients. This role involves evaluating the influence of nutrition on specific diseases and conditions, utilizing clinical research tools, and adhering to departmental performance standards to achieve and maintain Specialist I status, with advancement criteria for Specialist II determined by the department head.

The Clinical Dietitian must possess strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data from diverse sources, assess patient conditions, plan appropriate dietary interventions, and evaluate outcomes. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and families, and mentoring students and support staff. The role also requires proficiency in computer systems for data entry and retrieval, and the ability to interpret age-specific responses in clinical interactions.

Required Licensure :

Must be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (RD)

Requires two or more years’ clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian
