Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Controller to work for our client headquartered in Cleveland. In this vital role, you will manage financial reporting, cost analysis, and internal controls while working closely with plant management to ensure accurate financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Manage plant accounting processes such as inventory management, cost of goods sold, and variance analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Monitor and improve internal controls to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
- Provide financial insights to plant management to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual budgets and forecasts.
- Support audits and coordinate with external auditors.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure professional growth and accuracy in daily operations.
