Location : Woodbridge, Virginia, USA Specialty : Vascular Interventional Technician Type : Travel Schedule : 5x8s Days Time : 13 Weeks

Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for an Vascular Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Woodbridge, VA. This assignment consists of 5x8s day shifts per week, totaling 40 hours paying $3,450 weekly, and a local rate of $3,000 weekly.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Vascular Interventional Radiologic Technologist :

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital subtraction angiography systems
  • Assist interventional radiologists during vascular procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, and thrombolysis
  • Position patients safely and monitor vital signs throughout procedures
  • Maintain sterile technique and assist with setup, draping, and instrument handling
  • Administer contrast media and monitor patients for adverse reactions under supervision
  • Accurately document procedures, imaging findings, and patient care in the medical record
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality control on imaging and procedural equipment
  • Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and departmental protocols

    • Requirements of the Travel Vascular Interventional Radiologic Technologist :

  • Valid ARRT / RCIS and BLS Certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in interventional radiology
  • Knowledge of imaging equipment and safety procedures
  • Ability to work scheduled day shifts
  • Working in the Heart and Vascular Lab " Cardiac / IR / Vascular procedures (PVL, Ankles, dopplers, Carotids, renals)
