American Traveler is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist with Neuro IR and ICU experience for an 8-hour day shift assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a medical imaging / radiology department with 2 cath labs and 2 hybrid peripheral / OR suitesMember of the Stroke Team with responsibilities related to neuro interventional proceduresUses Siemens equipment, Alaris, Omnicell, EPIC (required) and Epic Cupid (preferred) charting systemsPatient population and case specifics will be discussed during interview8-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM when not on call and 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM when on callOne week on-call followed by two weeks off-call rotationWeekend and holiday coverage expectations will be discussed during interviewNo floating requiredFive days of 8-hour orientation shifts providedProcedural scrubs are providedFree parking is availablePosition is open to first-time travelersPermanent staff must wait one year before returning as travelersTime off requests must be approved by the manager\n \n Requirements\n
Current BLS certification requiredARRT certification required; VI preferred (will determine during interview)Minimum 1 year of Neuro IR tech experience required; IR-only experience not acceptedICU experience requiredProficiency in sterile and scrub technique, neuro IR procedures, stroke interventions, and use of Siemens machinesExperience with EPIC charting requiredMust live at least 100 miles away from the facilityLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
