Staff Accountant

This role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting activities within a complex operating environment, where strong foundations are in place but there is meaningful scope to enhance systems, streamline processes, and help shape how the finance function supports growth.

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Staff Accountant who thrives in a dynamic and evolving business environment. This role offers a broad range of responsibilities across the full accounting cycle and provides an opportunity to work closely with an experienced finance leader in building scalable, efficient processes that support continued growth. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and inquisitive — someone who enjoys improving systems, strengthening controls, and finding smarter ways to work within a fast-paced and collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile vendor invoices, payments, and statements.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices; apply payments and manage AR aging.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for monthly close.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reporting.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records.
• Assist with external audits by providing schedules and explanations.
• Identify and help implement opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and reporting through better use of financial systems.
• Collaborate closely with the Controller and FP&A teams to strengthen processes and support business growth.
