As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas to help create a secure environment for residents and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide excellent customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Monitor and control access to the residential location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client guidelines.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.

Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance as needed to residents and guests.

Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and site management to address questions and provide information related to access control and site policies.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 2 years of security-related experience required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
