As part of the DC Platform Engineering organization, the Technical Program Manager will be responsible for leading the management and execution of AI server and hyperscale server platform programs throughout the product lifecycle, driving design and development activities from product definition and planning through production, release and end of life.

THE PERSON:

In this position, the Validation Technical Program Manager will serve as a Key Technical program lead for the Validation of the server platforms. Work with cross functional teams to aid in development and execution of a Comprehensive Test plan which will verify product functionality and adherence to product specifications, requirements, including Firmware and Software stack. Comprehended of diversified functional areas for the Boards validation, System and Rack level Integration and Validation, inclusive of Electrical, Power, Mechanicals, Thermals, Shock and Vibe, Certifications, System Integration and Platform Validation, Reliability, Firmware.

Responsible of leading Triage and Debug efforts, identify root cause, and resolve issues as they occur. Interface with architecture, mechanical design, platform, firmware and system engineering for a collaboration and leverage in all phases of the design process. Exercise judgement in test specifications, requirements, strategies and methodologies for electrical validation, firmware validation and platform level testing. Lead test efforts and prepare schedules to track requirements and complete actions including summarizing test results and creating documentation. Participate in both internal and customer-facing program core team meetings to communicate updates, track progress, and ensure that the validation plan is on track to meet upcoming milestones. Provide Internal Server Research & Development Hardware Validation support. Collaborate on automation efforts for system validation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with system architects, mechanical design, platform, firmware, and system engineering teams throughout all phases of the design process to ensure alignment and leverage expertise.
• Define and apply sound judgment in developing test specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologies for electrical validation, firmware validation, and platform-level testing.
• Lead validation efforts by creating and managing schedules, tracking requirements, and driving completion of actions, including summarizing test results and preparing comprehensive documentation.
• Represent validation in internal and customer-facing program core team meetings to provide updates, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to validation plans and milestone commitments.
• Deliver hardware and system validation support for Internal Server Research & Development initiatives.
• Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive test plan aligned with program objectives.
• Contribute to automation initiatives aimed at improving system validation efficiency.
• Drive triage and debug activities to resolve issues effectively and maintain program timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in Datacenter Operations and Server Validation, including hardware and software qualification.
• Strong understanding of Server and Datacenter Architecture. Communication protocols, PCI Express, and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on exposure to hyperscale and enterprise server environments, covering network, storage, data process, out-of-band and in-band management, monitoring solutions, etcetera.
• Proficient in scripting and automation, particularly using PowerShell and Python.
• Skilled in Test planning and Execution, including creating test plans, developing test cases, and building dashboards to track progress and completion.
• Demonstrated ability to lead debug efforts, manage bug tracking, and drive issue resolution.
• Deep expertise in validation methodologies, ensuring robust and reliable system performance.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, System Engineering or Computer Application or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, System Engineering or Computer Application
