Underwriting Internship Summer 2026

What is our Underwriting Internship?

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to :

  • Aid in account setup and maintenance within underwriting systems, ensuring accurate data entry, document tracking, and assisting with policy issuance and endorsement processing.
  • Support the underwriting team in reviewing client business operations and understanding risk profiles.
  • Conduct research on industries, clients, and exposures to support underwriting decisions.
  • Support preparation of reporting deliverables such as BDX (bordereaux) reports, premium summaries, and other underwriting analytics, while providing general administrative and analytical support.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist in implementing technology-driven efficiency solutions (including AI and automation).
  • Participate in creating and refining underwriting workflows and operational processes.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications :

  • Currently enrolled or in pursuit of enrollment at a 4-year institution.
  • Examples of prior majors' interns have pursued : Business Administration, Finance, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Health Promotion, Risk Management & Insurance, and more.
  • Prior work experience is a plus, preferably in a customer service or administrative role.
