Title : Senior Full-Stack Developer (NodeJS | Angular | AWS Serverless)

Location : Hybrid Rockville, MD or Tysons, VA (3 days onsite per week)

Pay Range : Competitive (based on experience)

Must haves :

  • 5+ years of enterprise development done things end to end
  • Has supported modernization of legacy efforts, is curious and digs into the legacy system
  • had full ownership of the process,
  • done integration testing
  • cross-collaborated with other teams
  • troubleshooted post-production with understanding of downstream impacts, can support design).
  • NodeJS TypeScript
  • Angular 16+ , RxJS, etc.
  • AWS serverless for example, DocumenDB, SQS, SNS etc.
  • End to end testing prioritize quality
  • CI / CD
  • Systematic thinkers who think about things from an end- to-end perspective

    • About the Role

    Were looking for two Senior Full-Stack Developers to join a modernization initiative for a large-scale mortgage licensing system (NLMS) . This is a high-impact, enterprise-level project focused on modernizing legacy systems into cutting-edge AWS-based applications.

    If youre a well-rounded developer who enjoys working across the stack from modern Angular front-ends to NodeJS-based APIs and AWS Serverless backends this is the opportunity to make a real difference in a long-term digital transformation program.

    What Youll Do

  • Build and enhance full-stack applications using NodeJS, TypeScript, and Angular 16+
  • Design and implement AWS serverless components including Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS / SNS, and DocumentDB
  • Collaborate across architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end quality and system reliability
  • Support modernization of legacy systems , performing integration testing and post-production troubleshooting
  • Implement CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitHub Actions) and ensure automated testing coverage using Playwright or equivalent tools
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to cross-functional team success

    • Must-Have Skills

    5+ years of full-stack enterprise development experience

    Strong with NodeJS and TypeScript

    Advanced experience with Angular 16+ , RxJS , Ngx Formly , and monorepo architecture

    Hands-on with AWS serverless technologies Lambda, SQS / SNS, Step Functions, DocumentDB, DynamoDB

    CI / CD experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and end-to-end test automation (Playwright, Selenium, etc.)

    Experience modernizing legacy systems and understanding downstream dependencies

    Excellent communication and collaboration no lone wolves!

    Nice to Have

  • AWS Professional or Developer certification
  • Financial or mortgage industry experience
  • Experience mentoring developers or leading code reviews

    • Work Setup

  • Hybrid : 3 days onsite per week (Rockville, MD or Tysons, VA)
  • Local DMV candidates strongly preferred
