Software Engineer

Located at our HQ in Arlington, VA, [solidcore] is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our growing Technology team. This role offers the opportunity to build innovative, high-impact software solutions that power our nationwide network of studios and enhance the experience of thousands of clients and coaches every day. As part of a fast-paced, mission-driven fitness brand, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and operations teams to design and deliver technology that supports [solidcore]’s continued growth, operational excellence, and industry-leading member experience.

What you'll be doing

• Build and maintain [solidcore]'s fitness platform using modern technologies including Node.js , React Native / Expo, Next.js , and AWS services
• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and other cloud infrastructure
• Develop and enhance mobile and web applications that power the [solidcore] member experience
• Leverage AI-powered development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and improve code quality
• Build and maintain AI agents and automation systems that enhance both internal operations and member experiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship features that directly impact thousands of fitness enthusiasts daily
• Optimize application performance and resolve production issues, including monitoring with Sentry and responding to incidents
• Implement and maintain integrations with third-party platforms like Mind Body Online and Contentful CMS
• Participate in code reviews via GitHub and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards
• Work with blue-green deployment strategies and modern CI / CD practices to ensure reliable releases
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and evaluate their potential application to our platform and workflows

Our signature workout is 50 minutes of low-impact, high-intensity strength training : the lights are low and the music is loud.
