Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Hatch Bank Hatch's business is a California chartered Industrial Bank focused on lending sponsorship, which powers the evolution of embedded lending products at the point of sale. We are looking for a hands‑on CFO to oversee Hatch's accounting, financial reporting, and asset / liability management functions. The CFO will report to the Bank President and will be an important member of Hatch's executive leadership team, influencing the strategic and financial direction of the bank.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including GAAP compliance, general ledger, audits, and financial reporting.
• Lead the timely and accurate preparation of internal and external financial reports.
• Maintain strong internal controls and oversight.

Asset / Liability Management (ALM) & Treasury

Direct the bank's asset / liability risk management oversight, including Interest rate sensitivity analyses, to maintain profitability while managing interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and capital requirements.

Participate in the ALCO committee; oversee modeling of NIM, IRR, and cash flow scenarios.

Ensure sound treasury practices including investment portfolio management, funding strategies, and contingency liquidity planning.

Risk Management & Regulatory Interface

Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to manage safety and soundness, including liquidity, market, credit, and overall financial risk oversight.

Serve as the primary point of contact for financial matters during regulatory exams and interactions with the FDIC and California state regulators.

Financial Analysis and Strategic Financial Leadership

Partner with the President and executive leadership team on the strategic direction of the Bank

Lead the annual financial planning, budgeting, and periodic financial forecasting

Team & Operations Oversight

Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, ensuring scalable processes and high-performance culture.

Implement and enhance financial systems, forecasting tools, and automation where possible.

Required EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Pay Range

$180,000.00 to $225,000.00.
