We are seeking a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner in Nevada.

Shift : 24-hour call every three weeks; 7a 5p on non-call days; may cover clinic 1 2 times during call week

Position Details :

Patient Population : Cardiovascular and thoracic surgical patients

Setting : Acute care hospital

Responsibilities :

Inpatient management pre- / peri- / post-op CVT surgery patients

Rotating 24-hour First Call for CVT service

First assist in CVT surgeries

Rounding, interdisciplinary care coordination

ER consultations and care planning

Prescribing medications, ordering / interpreting diagnostics

Working within a multidisciplinary team

Required Procedures : First assist in complex CVT surgical procedures (e.g., CABG, valve replacements)

EMR System : Cerner

Support Staff : Clinic supervisor, acute care services director

Days Per Month :

On-Call / Weekends : Yes 24-hour call rotation every 3 weeks

Submission Requirements :

Board Certified Required

NV state license or IMLC Required

Residency / Fellowship Required

BLS, ACLS, DEA Required

Clean Malpractice Required
