Medical Receptionist
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team at a reputable hospital, providing support in a multi-specialty ambulatory clinic. The role involves distributing mail and reports, performing account maintenance, and efficiently handling customer issues. Responsibilities include distributing mail, reports, and written communication to designated parties, performing account maintenance, faxing, scanning, and copying tasks, identifying and resolving customer issues promptly and efficiently, and interacting with patients during check-in and check-out.
Essential skills include proficiency in insurance verification, medical customer service, and data entry. Experience with EPIC systems and working in a multi-specialty ambulatory clinic is required. Understanding of medical billing and health care processes is also necessary. Ability to interact with patients in a professional manner is essential. This is a fully on-site position at the main campus for ambulatory clinics, specifically in the ortho, primary care, and allergy clinics. The work hours are 9am to 6pm, with one Saturday required each month.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boston, MA. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
