[job_card.job_description]Work Thursday through Saturday from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM with call and holiday coverage Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiology Technology required Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required, less than 1 year CT experience preferred Required certifications : ARRT Radiography, ARRT Computed Tomography, Basic Life Support (BLS) Perform wide variety of technical CT procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative Adjust technique to provide lowest possible radiation dose while maintaining image quality Obtain clinical history, gather examination data, and assess for contraindications Administer contrast media following established procedures Verify patient identification using 2 unique identifiers before procedures Review CT images for clinically acceptable results and release patients Maintain competency with venipuncture and power injection operation Respond to emergency situations and assist with crash cart maintenance Complete all studies in RIS and send to PACS immediately after completion Perform patient charging activities on day of service Take call when necessary and assist other technologists as needed Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work independently under pressure Must be detail oriented with ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environment Referral bonus
