Corporate Finance Intern

Job Summary:

The Corporate Finance Intern will collaborate with the finance department to support strategic projects and play a key role in achieving the Company's financial goals. This internship offers valuable experience in financial analysis and reporting activities at Woda Cooper Companies.

Reports To:

The Corporate Finance Intern reports to the Vice President of Financial Reporting.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Gathering and analyzing data from internal sources and third-party partners to provide key financial insights into the company's functions.
• Identifying and resolving issues related to financial operations, including accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Maintaining and updating critical databases and documentation related to financial and investor reporting.
• Collaborating with various departments to gather data and support accurate financial summaries.
• Contributing to the ongoing improvement of reporting processes and tools to increase efficiency and clarity.
• Conducting research and compiling financial data to support project underwriting.
• Assisting with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed to support organizational priorities.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail, emphasizing accuracy and precision in financial analysis.
• Well-versed verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly explain financial information to both specialized and non-specialized audiences.
• Proficient in Excel, with strong skills in financial modeling and data analytics.

Education and Experience:

• Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a bachelor's or master's in
  a related field.
• Background in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in creating and maintaining reports.

Physical Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance.
