JOB PURPOSE : The role of a Dietitian at AHN is to oversee the nutritional well-being of our clients by providing medical nutrition therapy and health education services. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of conducting nutrition assessments and creating appropriate nutrition plans accordingly. You should be able to analyze the effectiveness of interventions and use metrics to implement data-driven improvements. You should also actively keep up with the latest nutrition research, integrating new findings into diet plans and nutritional services. The ideal applicant has experience providing nutrition education to patients and mitigating risk factors. You must be ready to collaborate with all members of a client's care team including physicians, nurses, care managers, and care givers to tailor dietary services and improve patient outcomes. The Registered Dietitian should be a great communicator, critical thinker, and leader.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS :

• Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
• Required to pass a background check through the State of Nevada.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive the AHN company car when needed.
• Process, maintain and gather protected health information from clients and program partners in a manner compliant with all HIPAA regulations.
• Abide by all AHN policies and guidelines.
