[job_card.job_description]Providing and encouraging socialization Encouraging a mild exercise program Encouraging medication compliance through timely reminders to take medications Supervising the safety of the patient / client when bathing, toileting, and dressing Assisting with grocery-shopping; and performing light housekeeping chores Performs other duties as assigned / necessary Arrives at the client's home on time and leaves when shift schedule is complete Performs all duties in an accurate and timely manner Safeguards the client / patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions Must be at least 18 years old One (1) year of experience as a Companion Care Homemaker / Companion Care Provider preferred Ability to carry out tasks in a professional manner and adhere to policies regarding professionalism and boundaries preferred Must demonstrate a compassionate nature and possess strong interpersonal skills preferred Ability to effectively elicit / provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills preferred Proficiency in the English language is required Computer proficiency required Health and Wellness Medical / Prescription, Dental, Vision, Health Advocacy (company paid if enrolled Medical) and Health Advocate Employee Assistance Program Retirement and Financial Security : Health Savings Account, 401(k), Short Term Disability, Voluntary Group Life Insurance and Supplemental Accidental Insurance, Hospital Expense Protection Plan, Critical Illness Insurance, Home and Auto Insurance discounts, Pet Insurance and Legal Benefits Lifestyle Benefits : Paid Time Off, Employee Discount Program, Transportation Benefits and College Partnership Program Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
