New York Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

A company is looking for a Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to join its national bankruptcy practice.

Key Responsibilities

Draft motions for relief from the automatic stay and prepare secured creditor proofs of claims

Manage a substantial caseload and guide support staff effectively

Ensure timely and accurate updates to the Firm's systems of record regarding important dates and communications

Required Qualifications

Bar License in the state of New York

More than eight (8) years of experience in civil litigation, real estate, or equivalent experience

Preferred knowledge of TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA

Experience in appellate practice is a plus

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
