Infrastructure Manager

As an Infrastructure Manager, you will work hands-on with a geographically diversified team to support one of our managed services clients.
We are in need of an Infrastructure Manager to lead a remote team of up to 10 people on a managed service account. This position is full time, salaried and remote. All candidates must be based in the United States. We are looking for an impactful leader with strong time management and people management skills to lead a team for a high-touch client. Some travel (up to 15% annually) may be required.

What You'll Do
- Lead teams of IT professionals, including network administrators, systems engineers, and support staff
- Provide clear direction, set goals, and ensure that the team operates efficiently and collaboratively
- Evaluate team members' performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to improve productivity including conducting performance reviews and addressing any issues affecting individual or team outputs
- Identify skill gaps within their team and ensure that staff receive the necessary training to stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices. Encourage professional development through certifications, workshops, or on-the-job learning
- Coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for operations, maintenance, and support tasks including assigning roles and responsibilities based on team members' strengths and ensuring optimal resource utilization
- Foster a positive and productive work environment by addressing conflicts and maintaining team morale. Promote collaboration and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Participate in hiring processes to select qualified candidates and oversee their onboarding to ensure smooth integration into the team
- Act as a bridge between their team and other departments, ensuring that their staff understand organizational priorities and work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Motivate staff to adapt to changes in technology or organizational direction. Provide support during high-pressure situations, such as system outages or major project deadlines
- Ensure that the team operates cohesively, efficiently, and contributes positively to the organization's overall IT strategy and goals
- Must be available to provide on call support
What You'll Need
Required : 3 or more of the following certifications : Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional - Security (CCNP); CompTIA : Security+, Network+, IT Operations Specialist, Secure Infrastructure Specialist; Fortinet : FCP Network Security5+ years of people management experience10+ years of hands-on infrastructure experienceExperience working with the following technologies : Fortinet, Dell, Lenovo, printers, networking, IT Glue, Entra, ticketing systems (FreshService or Talkdesk preferred)3+ years with ITAMPreferred : Bachelors or Associates degreeAI and Cybersecurity skills are strongly desiredPhysical Demands

$120,000 - $130,000 per year. The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
