Design Technician I

A company is looking for a Design Technician I to contribute to the design of electrical utility projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design electrical systems for overhead and underground utility projects, including detailed construction drawings and bills of materials

Provide supporting documentation such as pole force loading calculations and permitting requirements

Support pre-construction activities and address job site-related questions

Required Qualifications

Entry-level experience (0-3 years) in a design engineering role

Familiarity with electrical distribution systems and concepts is a plus

Proficiency in drafting / design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) and Microsoft Office

Associate's degree in a technical related field is preferred
